Splinter Cell Conviction Demo Dated March 18

Posted on 16 March 2010 by Foster

Last week we were super stoked to find out that there was a confirmed demo in existence for Splinter Cell Conviction, but we definitely didn’t expect to see it this soon.  However, thanks to the new “Inside Xbox” video, it would appear that the demo is not only coming soon, it’s coming very, very soon.  As in this week.

Check out the official site for the new video, which covers a bit of what you can expect in the demo.

Were you one of the 100 or so people that purchased Crackdown for any reason besides it containing the Halo 3 beta?  If so, you’re going to be stoked to learn that Microsoft has officially announced a July 6 launch date for the appropriately named Crackdown 2.

If you just can’t wait until July to get your hands on the game, fear not – producer James Cope has confirmed that there will definitely be a demo available on Live at some point before release.  Better get your calendars cleared!

Demo Coming for Splinter Cell Conviction

Posted on 13 March 2010 by Foster

I think it’s a safe bet to look for this demo within the next few weeks, considering Conviction drops April 13th.  Check out the full video after the jump.

Just Cause 2 Demo Now Available

Posted on 05 March 2010 by Foster

I’ve always said there aren’t enough games in the world that allow you to leap out of a supersonic plane cockpit, surf on top of it for a while, then jump to another jet.  Well it looks like Eidos agrees with me, because Just Cause 2 features just such a ridiculous set piece.

If you want to get a taste of some of the insane action featured in Just Cause 2, the download is now available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.  So go do it.

Oh, and I don’t know if that jet thing is in the demo.  Probably not, because I talked about it.
